We’ll provide a vegan main dish. You are welcome to bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to make it a feast!

Feel free to come for just the meal, the video, or both!

REQUEST: If you are coming for the dinner, please arrive as close to 6:30 as possible, so we can all enjoy a meal together and have plenty of time to eat before the movie. Thanks!

CANDLELIGHT YOGA CLASS

Temple of Joy Yoga Sanctuary

Saturday Feb 2nd  5:30 PM

Prasad meal following the class at 7 PM

Class and Dinner by Donation (pay what feels right to you).

FEBRUARY 2nd is a day with many names and significance from diverse traditions, from the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc, to the Christian celebration of Candlemas, to the day we wait for the Ground Hog to emerge from his burrow with a prediction about the coming of Spring…In the Northern Hemisphere, it is the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.

Appropriate for all levels, this class will be both enlivening and meditative, as we set the sanctuary aglow offering prayers and affirmations with candles, and singing to celebrate the earth’s perpetual turning from darkness to light.  We’ll bask in the glow with a restorative guided relaxation at the end.
